What a busy past few days it has been! I had a surprise call from former co-worker who wanted to meet for lunch. She and her other met me at a El Mariachi in Hazel Green. We had a great lunch and a wonderful visit. I think we were there almost three hours! It was great to see Sue and Marie. After this, I went to Barbie and Dave's house and helped them in their yard. We had to work between thunderstorms. It was nice to sit on their screened in porch and listen/watch the storm pass.
We went to Lowe's and got more supplies and then out to eat at O'Brian's Steak House on Hwy 72 in Huntsville (this is a great place to eat, especially the salad bar)!
My sweet daughter (Christy) spent the night with me Saturday night and went to church with me Sunday. It was a great day being with her. She works full time and goes to college (studying massage therapy). She does a fabulous job and is gifted in this art.
Back to work on Monday and today. It has been a busy week again, but at least Joint Commission is not with us this week! I believe they were very pleased with the way our hospital looked. I look forward to seeing Robert and AJ (hubby and grandson) tomorrow.

In the beginning...

Well, here I sit posting my first ever blog (with a lot of help from my best buddy and pal Meme Lorie). Now all we have to do is get our other best buddy and pal (Barbie) to create her blog. Speaking of my best friends, we had a great evening together enjoying pizza at a great place in Fayetteville (in Tennessee just north of Hazel Green). The name of it is Rafael's. They specialize in Italian food and have yummy pizza. It was good to spend the evening with my friends and their family.

Another good time was spent today working with Barbie at her salon (The Gentle Touch Salon and Spa in Hazel Green). Most of my time is spent checking out customers, doing laundry, putting up stock, going to the bank and just a lot of PR stuff. I get to see a lot of people that I have not seen in a while. I hooked Lorie and Barbie up with a little massage this evening. I am glad that I was able to give them something they enjoy so much.
